Our Last Moments in Morocco

It is sad to say that our time in Morocco has come to an end. Today we spent our final day as a free day, where everyone had the chance to do what they pleased. I decided to make the most of my final time here. I had the chance to sleep in longer than we have been, but once I started my day, I went to a coffee shop with some other people from the group. Oussama, our ISA rep, recommended us a very pretty café right next to the beach where we had some nice brunch and worked on some of our trip reflections. We enjoyed the beautiful view and really got to take in the beauty of Morocco. We spent about two hours there finishing our reflections before we decided to move on to our next adventure!

We finished at the café, and we went back to the hotel to drop off our things and headed straight to the Medinas. Throughout this entire trip, I had not bought very many things, so I very much took advantage of my last day at a Moroccan medina. I got to practice my bargaining skills one last time before we go to Spain where it is not typical to bargain as much. I bought all kinds of things from magnets to teacups, and even a pillowcase with the cutest camel and palm tree. I hope these souvenirs can help me never forget my time here in Morocco.

Once we finished at the Medinas, we headed straight to the beach! We got to see sunset from the beach and took a lot of great pictures to bring back with us. The water was cold as it was a windy day, but we made the most out of our time there. Some of us enjoyed the sun while others went straight to enjoy the nice blue waters! We had the best time walking to the beach, but the uphill walk back to the hotel was a bit of a struggle! Once we finally made it back, I returned to the hotel and got ready. I ended my night at a nice Italian place, enjoying my Alfredo pasta with some people in the group. We got to converse about our time here in Morocco and shared all of our favorite memories and stories. I came back to pack up all my things for our exciting experience to come in Spain!

Bslama Morocco and Inshallah I will return in the near future!
