Beach Day at Punta Leona!!

Today, I woke up super early because I needed to pack for the beach trip to Punta Leona. Once I was done, I had breakfast with my roommates, we had eggs, avocado, tortillas, and a fruit fresco. After eating, we took a taxi to get to the bus stop so we can aboard the bus and head to the National Park of Carara. Before arriving to the park, we made a stop at El Jardin a souvenir shop and I was able to purchase a couple of souvenirs for my family and friends. Afterwards we made another stop and we were able to see different size crocod

iles in the big lake. Then we arrived at the National Park of Carara, when we got off the bus I felt the humidity stronger than in Heredia and the sun was brighter than ever. Once Angie paid the entrance fees we initiated our adventure at the park. While I was walking I was trying to observe every detail and my surroundings with the hope to see any type of animal I've never seen before. I was able to spot a small deer which looked like Bambi which was very awesome. As we continued walking we saw different types of birds, iguanas, and a frog that had green spots on his body. Once we finished walking through the park we headed to lunch at a local restaurant. I had chicken rice, potatoes, chicken and mango juice. After eating, Cho drove us to the view point of Jaco and we were able to observe the beautiful ocean, we took a group picture, and I got some selfies with the ocean as well.

Our next stop was the hotel, once we arrived I took a shower to refresh myself since I sweated a lot at the park after the long walk and when I got out I was trying to look for the bus stop to go to the beach and I couldn't find it nor anybody so I asked Angie and she gave me her map and then I bumped into Riley and we both waited at the bus stop together because we had missed the previous one. After sitting for a bit we saw Precious and Haley and they told us that they had also missed the bus so we all waited together for the next one. Once the bus arrived we boarded and headed to the beach which was very close to the hotel. When we arrived we couldn't find our classmates because they were at the other beach so it was just us that afternoon. I was super excited being there because it is something I was looking forward to during this trip. I just love the ocean it reminds me of my parents and swimming makes me happy. We had a great time together. As it got late we headed back to the hotel to shower and get ready for dinner.

For dinner I had a plate full of different foods like rice, beans, meats, bread, and to drink, soda and cas. I was super full after that meal I could barely walk. Then I told Ambrea about the bar that was nearby and we decided to head there with Angie to meet the rest of the group. On our way she was telling us that there was live music. When we got there Ambrea and I had a couple of drinks and we danced with Angie until we couldn't resist the sweat so then we walked back to the hotel and I showered and went to bed.

It was a fun busy day!
