Up to the Mountains we go!

Good morning America from Costa Rica !! We are going to MonteVerde today! We got to our bus stop at 9am, so not too early. Thankfully! Once we all got there, we started our long journey to MonteVerde. We watched a documentary about MonteVerde to know more about the animals we might see. I personally fell asleep because I got car sick. I got woken up by an announcement of our great guide, Angie. She told us that we were at our only bathroom for this ride at another location of El Jardin (The Garden). I used this time to explore the surrounding area as well like the stables and butterfly garden.

I loved all the animals i got to see. Some of us also got the chance to pet them since they are friendly plus not scared of humans. I also got to buy plenty of gifts for my family and friends. While I was shopping for gifts, I saw a cute photo-op so I took one. This is me, Karyn, and Rafael looking fantastic as ever. Our inspiration was olden day standing for hours picture.

We left after 30 minutes and continued on our journey to MonteVerde for another hour and a half. We got lunch at one of the restaurants once we arrived. After a fulfilling lunch, we got a special lecture by one of the owner of a coffee plantain at the MonteVerde Cloud Forest Reserve. His amazing pets also made a special appearance just for us VIPS. They also gave us a tour of the place

We got back to the hotel and ate dinner. Dinner was great! Very fancy too. We got a salad and bread, main course, and dessert. Once we got done, some of us decided to join our assistant director, Marquetta in her room for game night. We played Mafia and a card game named Taco, Cat, Goat, Cheese, and Pizza. The funny moment of the day was me and my roommate Karla getting locked out of our room for a few because of card decided to stop working for the night. We did lucky get back in after a few phone calls.
